Prairie Metal Recycling is partnering with Canadian Foodgrains Bank to help in the important mission of ending global hunger. For every ton we pick up, $5 is donated to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank to help people gain access to food.
Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a partnership of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to end global hunger by providing emergency food assistance in times of crisis and long-term responses to improve household food security.
In Canada, the Foodgrains Bank engages Canadians and governments towards meaningful change around the issue of global hunger. Did you know that 70% of people facing hunger are food producers? And here in Canada, this organization has strong rural roots and continues to be supported by many in the agricultural sector.
Since 1983, Foodgrains Bank members, supporters, and project partners have been devoted to the mission of ending world hunger.
